Stacy Ann Krahn (White)

July 23, 1984 – Nov. 22 2017

From the first event held in Grande Prairie, AB in 2003 Stacy could be found writing down times, keeping drivers lined up, and doing her best to keep a smile on her face. She was one of the founders of the P.C.O.R.A. and everyone’s favorite person at each event. Being the daughter to Jamie and Debbie White and wife to Myron Krahn, she really didn’t have a choice but to love mud racing. She never raced herself but was the biggest supporter and promoter of these events. She was the ambassador of the association.

In her last few years, Stacy could always be found wrangling her two daughters Halle and Layla and spending most of her time talking to every familiar face and many newcomers to the event. Everyone knew Stacy, and if they didn’t they sure would by the end of the race weekend. She was Myron and Jamie’s biggest fan when they were racing, and their biggest ego check when they got out of line.

In November of 2017, at the young age of 33, Stacy was taken from us by an impaired driver. Our family and friends have all been devastated by such a great loss. Our race family had lost the warmest smile and biggest hug. Stacy will forever be missed, but she will never be forgotten.

In the spring of  2018, the town of Wembley, AB gave the nod to dedicate the grounds in her name. June 16th, 2018 the Stacy Krahn Memorial Motorsports Park was christened with a beautiful sign built and donated by Accufab & Viking Solutions Inc.

The unveiling of the sign was followed by a tribute video of Stacy’s life and two back to back runs by her tearful husband, Myron with Halle and Layla standing by to support him like their mother always had.

This event became known as the Stacy Krahn Memorial Mud Bog and will continue to be a time for our race family to come together and pay homage to our biggest fan and brightest smile.
